PROFILE Senior IT Consultant, having been educated in England and Australia where he obtained a B.Sc (Honours) Degree in Computer Science from Manchester University, UK and an MBA from Murdoch University, Australia. He is a Chartered Information Technology Professional and has been a Member of the British Computer Society since 1979. He worked for more than 20 years in Banking as an IT Director and subsequently as a Corporate Banker, and headed one of the largest software houses in Sri Lanka, Informatics (Pvt) Limited for five years from 1999 to 2004. He has extensive international experience, having worked with the French Bank Societe Generale in England, France, Nigeria, Indonesia, Australia & Sri Lanka. HONONARY POSITIONS 1999- 2004& Member of Executive Committee, Software Exporters Association (SEA). The most recognised IT industry association in Sri Lanka. 2002-2004 Member of Sri Lanka's delegation to the World Summit of the Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva and member of the working group.

The company has since grown to become a provider of services to the France, Sweden, the UK and the US. PROFILE European based head of professional consultancy team, after spending 12 years with leading Technology group Acer, heading up the European IT Group. He has continued to work with major blue chip organisations including Mercedes Benz, MTV Europe, Sony Music, Eurodis Group, SimplyHealth (HSA), and Kent County Council. Being a professional PRINCE2 accredited project management consultant, and a recognised Microsoft MSF MCP Practitioner, he has led many successful group consultancy assignments, including gaining the Sunday Times Media award for Intranet Design in 1997.
